PAS and present.
Posted On 12/21/2009 12:19:07 by bluethunder28

Okay this is my first try at this.

I for am glad that PAS, VAR, SMS and Bako are getting together for common rules and that PAS and VAR won't have conflicting dates. This means since both track are the same distance from me that I can have 2 weekends with "stock car" dirt track racing.

I didn't go to the PAS this year for two reasons. The first and most important to me was no Late Models. The second and almost as high on my list was all the heat races and stuff happen before the main gates open!!! Man that's 3/4s of the the racing in my book and the number 1 reason why we drove an hour + to the PAS instead of the 5 minutes to Irwindale.

I love the PAS and I have met some great people there. Even though the Late Models aren't running, I look forward to going to PAS again.

Not sure who told you that, but the heat races started a half hour after the gates opened.  Gates opened at 5:00 PM and the heat races started at 5:30.  We used to start the heat races at 6:30, but in 2009 we moved them up an hour, but it was still 30 minutes after the gates opened.  Once again, not sure who told you that, but it was totally untrue.  We never ran any PASSCAR heats before the gates opened.

Late Models will be at The PAS on March 27th and July 24th in 2010.

I have heard that if one goes in thur the same entrance as the pits, one can get in that way without having the fear og being locked in.
